Refund and Returns Policy

Thank you for shopping with PureFab. We take pride in the quality and craftsmanship of our products. This Refund & Returns Policy outlines the conditions under which refunds, returns, and exchanges may be accepted.

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.

Change of Mind & Incorrect Orders

PureFab does not offer refunds for change-of-mind purchases or incorrect orders once an item has been processed or shipped.

If you request a cancellation before your order is processed, we may be able to cancel the order at our discretion.

Once an item has been shipped, a 20% restocking fee applies to all approved returns for incorrect orders or change-of-mind reasons.
Shipping costs are non-refundable, and return shipping is the customer’s responsibility.

Late or missing refunds

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.

Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.

Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Only regular priced items may be refunded. Sale items cannot be refunded.

Made-to-Order & Custom Fabricated Items

Many PureFab products are made to order — including turbo manifolds, aluminium heat exchangers, and custom fabrication items.

Because these items are produced specifically for your order, they are not eligible for cancellation, return, exchange, or refund, unless the item arrives damaged, defective, or significantly different from what was advertised.

Lead times for made-to-order items (typically 2–4 weeks) are estimates and do not qualify as grounds for refund.

Faulty, Defective, or Damaged Items

If your item arrives damaged, incorrect, or faulty, please contact us within 48 hours of receiving the order.
You will need to provide:

  • A description of the issue
  • Clear photos of the item
  • Photos of the packaging
  • Your order number

We will assess the issue and advise on next steps — which may include repair, replacement, or refund in accordance with Australian Consumer Law.

Australian Consumer Law (ACL)

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.
You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.
You are also entitled to have goods repaired or replaced if they fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

This policy does not override your rights under the ACL.

Return Conditions

For returns accepted under this policy:

  • Items must be unused, uninstalled, and in original condition
  • Items must be returned in original packaging
  • A 20% restocking fee applies where relevant
  • Customer is responsible for return shipping costs
  • Refunds are processed only after the item is inspected and approved

PureFab reserves the right to refuse returns that do not meet these conditions.

Refund Processing Times

Once an approved return is received and inspected, refunds will be processed to the original payment method.
Please allow 5–10 business days for the refund to appear, depending on your bank or payment provider.

Non-Returnable Items

We do not accept returns for:

  • Made-to-order or custom-fabricated items
  • Items that have been used, installed, modified, or damaged after delivery
  • Items returned without prior approval
  • Items returned outside required timeframes
